RiVA is a brand of computing appliances designed for G&G workloads and workflows. Four product lines address a variety of use cases. Our pre-localization process ensures that your appliance is delivered with everything pre-installed, tested, and ready to integrate directly into your environment. You just have to turn it on.

Extreme Performance

Odyssey is a more flexible solution designed to integrate into existing NAS environments. RiVA's virtual workstations access data over your network using NFS and SMB. Workstation performance will be better than what you currently experience.

RiVA appliances include Remote Visualization Servers (RVS) that host the geotechnical workstations. The RVS are separated into several series in order to address the wide variety of requirements presented to us by our customers. Each RiVA appliance can be customized by installing RVS in any combination.

Provides extreme performance to address exceptionally demanding workloads. Using dedicated hardware, these large memory workstations employ the most powerful Intel and nVidia processors available.

Optimized for high performance. Each RVS hosts four 256GB virtual workstations, each with a dedicated nVidia GM204 GPU. These workstations are suitable for workflows such as seismic interpretation.

Provides a balance between performance and density. Each RVS hosts eight 128GB virtual workstations, each with a dedicated nVidia GM107 GPU. These workstations are suitable for more moderate geotechnical workflows.

Private cloud is a type of cloud computing that delivers similar advantages to public cloud, but through a proprietary architecture. Unlike public clouds, such as those from Amazon and Microsoft that share a computing infrastructure across different customers, a private cloud is dedicated to a single organization. In addition, private cloud offers hosted services to a limited number of people behind a firewall, so it minimizes the security concerns some organizations have around their data in the cloud.

Volante and Satellite can be provisioned as on-premise private clouds. Alternatively, the GeoComputing Cloud service can provide private clouds via shared data center facilities.
